Spiced Coffee for Chilly Days
Ingredients:
2-3 teaspoons of coffee powder
Cocoa
Cardamom (preferably in pods)
Cinnamon
Cloves
Fresh ginger
Anise (optional)

Instructions:
Pour approximately 2 cups of cold water into a pot.
Add 2-3 teaspoons of coffee, a teaspoon of cocoa, and a mix of spices onto the water's surface. Use about 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon, 3 cardamom pods, a few cloves, a touch of anise, and two thin slices of fresh ginger.
If fresh ginger isn't available, substitute with ginger powder or a small pinch of ground chili.
Bring the mixture to a boil over very low heat, then turn off the heat.
Allow the ingredients to settle for a minute, then pour the mixture into a cup through
a small strainer.
