Lemon-Sardine & Sunflower Spread

Ingredients:
Sunflower seeds, 150 g
Sardines, 1 can
Shallot, chopped, 1 small
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Soak the sunflower seeds for 5 hours or overnight, then drain.
Place the soaked sunflower seeds and lemon juice into a tall container. Blend with a hand blender until a smooth, creamy paste form
Flake the canned sardines into the mixture. Add the chopped shallot.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then pulse briefly with the hand blender or stir well to combine.
